A book, an artistic residency, an aesthetic experience. The return of one of the most legendary partnerships in Brazilian comics: Angeli and Laerte selected ten great artists and brought them together for a residency at Casa do Sol, where the Hilda Hilst Institute is now located. For two weeks, the artists worked together to conceive and create a free and open work that experiments with the language of comics, poetry, prose, and photography. The result is one of the most vibrant, new, and unusual books in Brazilian comics. The ten artists were joined by the editors themselves, who contributed drawings and stories, and five more writers and poets to complete the team.
"The illustrations are incredible, throughout all 320 pages of the project. The texts are also good. In the middle there's a very inspired series of drawings by Angeli. Something to proudly display on the wall."
- Estadão
"A huge comic book. A massive book. A gathering of graphic languages from 20 different authors. The alternation of styles and proposals throughout the 300 pages creates a constant sense of strangeness. The name is also strange: Baiacu."
